Holistic, Noninvasive Techniques to Diagnose, Treat, and Prevent Conditions

Dr. Davis has practiced medicine for over 29 years and believes in treating the whole person – not just the symptoms. He primarily uses Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT), which is noninvasive, hands-on care. This form of treatment involves adjusting the musculoskeletal system to relieve pain and areas of restriction, which helps the whole body heal and achieve optimal health. Most cases respond well to this treatment. See Services for an in-depth explanation on OMT and the services Dr. Davis provides.

Quality Time Spent With Each Patient

Dr. Davis believes in listening to the patient and taking time to treat holistically. He schedules a full hour for the initial visit. OMT is usually performed on the initial visit alongside discussions about goals, prevention, and exercises. Follow-up visits are 30 minutes. The frequency of treatment depends on the patient’s response to therapy.

Prescriptions Available

Dr. Davis, as an Osteopathic Physician, has an unlimited license to practice medicine. While Dr. Davis’ primary focus is OMT, a patient may need a prescription, especially in acute cases such as a herniated disc of the neck or back. (No narcotics are prescribed.)

Small-Town, Family-Friendly Environment

Dr. Davis and the office staff strive to accommodate patients to the best of their ability. An effort is made to schedule new and existing patients as soon as possible.

Phone calls / messages are always responded to the same day (during normal business hours). After-hour messages will be returned the following business day.

When you call to make an appointment or inquire about Dr. Davis’ practice, you will be greeted and assisted by the Office Manager, who is also Dr. Davis’ wife, Cathy. She is a registered nurse (RN) with years of experience, including the care of ICU and medical / surgical patients.
