Dr. Davis graduated from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (ATSU – KCOM) in the top 10 percent of his 1986 class and is a member of the National Osteopathic Scholastic Honor Society (Psi Sigma Alpha). The college is located in Kirksville, MO, where Dr. Andrew Taylor Still founded osteopathy in 1892. Dr. Davis’ grandfather and father also graduated from KCOM, which makes Dr. Davis a third-generation D.O.
Having been raised in an osteopathic-oriented environment, Dr. Davis came to understand and appreciate osteopathy at an early age. He has always enjoyed treating musculoskeletal conditions “one patient at a time.” To this day, he uses his grandfather’s table on which to treat his patients. This table is an original McManis table – 1920s vintage.
Dr. Davis’ daughter graduated in May 2017 as a fourth-generation D.O. from Marion University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Indianapolis. She now works in Ohio as a D.O. specializing in Internal Medicine.
When he is not treating patients, Dr. Davis enjoys trains of all sizes, including his model railroad layout (a work in progress). He also enjoys photography, fishing, restoring old cars, and playing the guitar.
